Final Take:
This movie scared me as a child. Now… not so much. It flies by, and there really isn’t a lot to it. It certainly fits the bill as a terrible Star Wars knockoff. Cheesy and harmless, it’s worth a look.
Saw this in the theater, in its full 3D glory, when I was 13-14. Can’t really remember what I thought of it, except that Molly Ringwald-bot was pretty damn cute. It’s probably time to watch it again, now that you mention it.
